Your personalized adventure is just a few steps away
1. Tell us about yourself
What type of traveler are you? What are your likes/dislikes? Complete the Trip Compass questionnaire and tell us the type of trip experience you want (e.g. total relaxation, adventurous, mix of arts and culture, etc), your interests, priorities, preferences, budget, etc. These details will help us plan a personalized journey that sparks your inner explorer.
2. Get paired with a 1-on-1 trip planner
Next, you'll be paired with a local Caravan Consultant to fine-tune your trip details via email or Zoom. Have you decided to include time to check out DC's alternative art scene? No problem. Curious about the city's international restaurants? We're on it! After your profile and details are confirmed, we get to work. Harnessing a network of local insiders, we thoughtfully curate a one-of-a-kind adventure that matches your interests and taps into the best the city has to see, do and eat at both popular spots and hidden gems.
3. Provide feedback to your trip planner
Along the way, you'll have a chance to review and provide feedback on your itinerary with your trip planner via email or Zoom. Have we allotted too much or not enough downtime? We'll work with you to make adjustments to make sure your trip is perfect. The number of revisions depends on which planning package you select.
4. Pack your bags; adventure awaits!
Curious Caravan itineraries are detailed, comprehensive and 100% personalized just for you. You can expect a daily plan with restaurants and activities for morning, afternoon and evening, plus a post-dinner activity, if you're up for it. We also build in the flexibility for you to explore other things in a particular neighborhood if you decide to skip something on the itinerary or want to indulge your curiosity. Your itinerary will be jam-packed with helpful summaries, pricing and operating hours, insider tips and points of interest organized by geographic proximity so you're making the most of your time, not running around going from one end of town to the other.
