Chefs from DC embassies are set for a friendly and delicious culinary battle in the name of international diplomacy at the 2020 Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge on May 28, 2020

The 12th annual event — hosted by Events DC — is an extraordinary celebration of culinary diplomacy, and draws chefs from around the District and the world to compete in a showcase of food and drink. 

Each chef will make two small dishes, and some will also prepare a cocktail or a drink to accompany the meals. The presentations are representations of cultural flavors and ingredients used most in dishes from the respective countries. The competition will be judged by area restaurateurs, food critics and enthusiasts.
