June is our favorite month, and not just because it's our birthday (though that doesn't hurt!).

Summer in DC kicks off with sun-filled days and endless things to do. From making a splash at the waterfronts, free festivals, outdoor concerts and movies, a cultural scene that can't be beat, and gallery exhibits galore, DC is full of amazing and unexpected fun. What to look forward to: Sunset military parades, Smithsonian Folklife Festival, pride celebrations, an immersive King Tut exhibit, the Black Food Festival, a sunrise dance party, and that's just for starters!
