From salsa to strings, and blues to swing, Live! Concert Series on the Plaza at the Reagan Trade Center building features lunchtime performances featuring the area's most talented entertainers. There is plenty of outdoor seating, so take the Metro, grab lunch and spend the afternoon grooving. Starts July 11 through September 16 Sounds of Africa. Enjoy the lively beats of the African diaspora and dance the night away with Eme & Heteru, featuring Chelsey Green as they kick off the summer concert series at the Smithsonian African Art museum. July 16 Kreeger jazz festival. Kick back and enjoy live jazz in the Kreeger Museum sculpture garden. In collaboration with Elijah Jamal Balbed, the series furthers the museum's mission to share music across the city. Now in its second year, this series supports and spotlights the wealth of musical talent in our metropolitan area. July 16 Fridays at Fort Totten.
